Ajna Babahmetović | Bmkös

Ajna Babahmetović is mentee of Gabu Heindl.

Ajna Babahmetović, * in Bosnia and Herzegovina, studied architecture at TU Graz. Her master’s thesis investigated the spatial manifestations of migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the results have been presented in Graz, Berlin, and Sarajevo. She has, among others, written for Failed Architecture, Drawing Matter, GAM (Jovis, 2024) and Kolik Film Magazine. She has also worked for various architecture offices, including Riegler Riewe Architects and Atelier Frühwirth. Currently, she is a teaching and research associate at the KOEN Institute at TU Graz and a member of the architectural research association Diskursiv. Together with her twin sister, Adna, she co-founded the studio Ajna i Adna, which focuses on competitions and other forms of architectural production.
