Graduate Student Conference 2012 | Academy of Fine Arts Vienna
The Graduate Student Conference (Graduiertenkonferenz) at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna aims at presenting doctoral students and their dissertations and to engage in a broader discussion about dissertation topics and projects. The conference shall furthermore encourage exchange and academic networking between the Academy's doctoral students and supervisors. Discussions across disciplinary boundaries that are not self-evident in the Academy's daily routine are highly welcome.
The conference will be completed by a panel discussion focusing on the question: "What characterises a good doctoral supervision?"
The Graduate Student Conference will take place twice a year: While in the summer term the conference's focus is on presenting and discussing final results of dissertation projects, the winter term conference aims at discussing concepts and methodological questions.
