Anna Voswinckel is mentor of Sophie Wurnig.
Anna Voswinckel is a curator of contemporary art. From January 2023 to October 2024, she directed the exhibition program at Camera Austria in Graz.
For many years, she taught artistic photography, including at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, where she collaborated with students and colleagues to develop numerous exhibition and mediation formats. Alongside her teaching activities, she pursued artistic projects in photography, wrote about art, and created artist books.

Person singular/plural, KV Leipzig (2016); TOUCH, with Bakri Bakhit and Nadja Quante, nGbK Berlin (2018); Careful Unrest, Museum für Fotografie Berlin (2018); Fotograf Festival #10: Nérovny terén / Uneven Ground, Prague, with Stephanie Kiwitt and Tereza Rudolf (2020); …oder kann das weg? Fallstudien zur Nachwende, with Elske Rosenfeld and Suse Weber, nGbK Berlin (2021); Gabriella Hirst: Battlefield, Kunsthalle Osnabrück (2022).
At Camera Austria, she realized the group exhibitions Exposure (2023), Double Exposure (2023/24), the solo exhibitions Alexandra Leykauf: Prospect (2024), Anouk Tschanz: Actinism (2024), as well as the duo exhibition (In)verso. Between the Lens and the Archive with Ana de Almeida and Huda Takriti.
