Traineeship Application

To apply for an Erasmus internship, the following forms must be completed and submitted by e-mail to s.stern@akbild.ac.at:

  1. Nomination Sheet:
    Official application for the internship.
    Must be signed by the professor of the central artistic subject/studio, the supervisor of the dissertation (in the case of doctoral programmes) or the chair of the curriculum at the institute.
    Contains information on the type of internship (student or graduate), duration and previous Erasmus stays.

  2. Learning Agreement:
    Contains specific learning objectives, content and conditions of the placement.
    Ensures that the internship is relevant to the degree programme.
    Must be signed by the student, the employer, the International Office and, if applicable, the person responsible for the curriculum.

  3. Beneficiary Declaration of Honour about sustainable travelling arrangements
    Allows for an additional grant of 50 euros and the reimbursement of days of travel.

Deadlines:

The forms (nomination, fully completed Learning Agreement, Green Travel Form) must be submitted to the International Office five weeks before the start of the internship.

  • In the case of compulsory placements, the signature of the relevant curriculum committee must be obtained in advance to confirm in the learning agreement whether the placement will be recognized as course work and whether ECTS credits will be awarded.
  •  The Learning Agreement should include details of the placement provider (name, address, telephone, website) and the content and duration of the placement.

Important:

For graduate internships, the application documents must be submitted before the degree examination date. Submissions after this date cannot be considered.

Financial Support:

Applicants will receive feedback on the allocation of the Erasmus+ grant by e-mail within a maximum of two weeks after the submission of the documents. Exclusion criteria include missing or insufficient mobility months.

Documents must be completed carefully and submitted on time.
