170.000 euros net proceeds at the Academy Auction 2025

The Academy of Fine Arts is delighted with the net proceeds of 170,000 euros from this year's Academy Auction. The Academy's successful charity event in cooperation with the Dorotheum took place for the 11th time in January 2025.

Admission Exam Master in Critical Studies for the study year 2025/2026

Registration online and Submission of the examination assignment online from February 3 until February 28, 2025.
The online application will be available during the call at https://calls.akbild.ac.at/calls/MACS25/
Applicants who are invited for a personal interview / oral examination will be notified by email until April 4, 2025.

Press reports on research project "fashion and the far-right. the new complexity in style"

NeoFashFarRight” is an in-depth fashion studies research investigating the current role of fashion for the far right in Europe and the US. The project is led by Elke Gaugele and Sarah Held (both from the Institute for Education in the Arts). Both the national and international press have already reported on the research project.

University Library – February 2025 Vacation
