Call for Films | Nespresso Talents 2017
Nespresso is inviting filmmakers to enter this year's Nespresso Talents contest.
Nespresso seeks out people who think differently, who are prepared to go further, push boundaries and demonstrate creativity in what they do. For this reason, Nespresso has always supported or created platforms that recognize outstanding creativity, talent and storytelling. Storytellers have an incredible power. They are able to provide hope, make us laugh, make us cry and change the world around them. This year, Nespresso want to inspire filmmakers to create positive change in the world and champion filmmaking talent from around the world. By working with filmmakers, we want to create a rallying cry for a brighter tomorrow.

Change today. You can change it in a big way, you can change it in a small way. You can change the lives of others, or change something in yourself. You have the power to tell a story that makes the world laugh. You have the power to share a message that makes it pause for thought. You have the power to share an idea, a dream, a poem, a lesson. You have the power. Share something today and make a difference in the world. Every story is worth telling, so go tell your own.
Brief: Your story can take place in your home, in your neighbourhood, or in your classroom. It can feature your friends, family, or complete strangers. It can be a documentary about the real world, or a fictional world of your own creation. The only rule is that it must be shot in 9:16. In this mobile world, more and more people are watching vertical video, so challenge yourself with this new format and see what you can create. Share something today and make a difference in the world. Every story is worth telling, so go tell your own.
What to Deliver:
Your film should be no longer than three minutes. It should be shot in 9:16 format (vertical). It should reflect the theme ‘You Have the Power To…’ and show your unique take on the brief.
