As part of the collection-related research season 2025/26 “Beside, not infinite,” the Austrian Ludwig Foundation is offering a grant in 2025 to support research for academic as well as artistic and curatorial projects in the field of visual arts by funding a research trip outside of Austria.

Funding is available for ongoing qualification theses (i.e. diploma, bachelor's and master's theses, dissertations) on LGBTIQQAA*-relevant topics in all scientific disciplines that are being written at Austrian universities (but not courses, MBA programmes or habilitations). The 2025 Art Prize invites Greek and international artists to apply.
