OeAD | Scholarships of the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria for Postdocs (International)
The scholarships of the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria for Postdocs are intended for descendants of forced labourers under the NS regime and nationals of countries that suffered particularly from the NS regime.
Eligible for application are Postdocs, working at universities outside of Austria
- who are descendants of forced labourers under the Nazi regime (regardless of their country of origin)
- or come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labourers
No scholarships are awarded for summer courses, language courses, clinical traineeships or internships.
Applicants must not have studied/pursued research/pursued academic work in Austria in the last six months before taking up the grant.
