Verein ent | SCHAU* Open Call

The association aims to create a space that fosters regional artistic and cultural development while providing access to contemporary art beyond urban centers. The main focus of the exhibition program lies on the expansive „storefront gallery“ of ent, which is regularly used for exhibitions. Artists of all disciplines, both individuals and groups, are invited to submit proposals for the SCHAU* program. Up to six positions will be selected to emphasize the storefront as a space for encounter and communication.

Submitted works will be evaluated by a jury consisting of members of the association’s board and a guest curator. A artist fee of € 400 gross, including transport costs, will be provided for each selected position. Production costs (materials) will be covered based on need and the association’s financial capacity. Final financial conditions will be communicated transparently and in a timely manner.

SCHAU* will use several storefronts, including some vacant properties, in the city center of Haag. While some locations are already confirmed, the exact sites will only be finalized after the submission deadline, as vacant ground-floor spaces may be rented or sold in the interim. Haag is accessible by public transportation, with the Stadt Haag train station located just a 10-minute walk from the city center
