Exhibition of architectural design projects from summer semester 22
Three studio projects from the Bachelor program will be shown: The project More Notes on House, Kitchen, Brain, Body and Gastro-esophageal Vestibule explores the extent to which the infrastructure of housing can be intertwined with other bodies and plants. The role of darkness in urban space in the face of climate change is the subject of experimental investigations in Urban Scotoecologies II. City of Beds examines megastructures of housing and explores their future viability through programmatic transformations. Three studio projects from the Master's program will be shown: In Housing, typologies of housing are examined and related to contemporary forms of working and producing. In Taking the Waters, historical, cultural and material meanings of water are translated into multimedia experiential spaces. In Building Resilience Learning Resilience, students engage with alternative building materials and the organization of animal and human habitats on a 1:1 scale.
