Invisible Symposium
Installation of recorded voices: Athena Athanasiou, Clementine Deliss, Mona Mahall, Keller Easterling, Felicity Scott, Malkit Shoshan, Antonia Alampi. In the frame of the Lecture Series Ruptured Landscapes curated by Aristide Antonas, Geography Landscapes Cities, winter term 22/23.
Voices from the architecture and the art scene present their point of view on urgent issues encountered today. The concept of urgency is addressed in relation to its impact on theory and praxis. A provocative tension between post-colonial, feminist and global warming literature is rooted in this discourse. Ecology offers a grand new narrative while feminist literature reshapes deconstructive strategies in opposition to normative stabilizing concepts.
