Jace Clayton aka DJ /rupture is probably the US musician with the broadest scope ranging from hip hop to punk avant-garde, from New Music to classical jazz, from minimal music to symphonic works. He is the author of “Uproot”, a far sighted survey of global musical conditions. As researcher, musician, and curator he initiated the rediscovery of the composer Julius Eastman.
