The Institute for Conservation - Restoration (IKR) offers insights into the research work of its conservation experts during the Lange Nacht der Forschung 2022. The focus on this evening is on the conservation of a gable mask from Papua New Guinea. In addition to lectures and interviews, visitors can sample and discover for themselves and ask questions of the academy's scientists.

The Conservation of a Gable Mask from Papua New Guinea: Complex Problems - Innovative Solutions
Presentation of the complex conservation of a gable mask from Papua New Guinea and related research. Followed by a tour of the "Objekt-Holz" restoration studio.
