Digital Memory – Digital History. Is the future of memory digital?
Book presentation and panel discussion on the volume Erinnerungskultur und Holocaust Education im digitalen Wandel. Georeferenzierte Dokumentations-, Erinnerungs- und Vermittlungsprojekte, edited by Victoria Kumar, Gerald Lamprecht, Lukas Nievoll, Grit Oelschlegel and Sebastian Stoff.
The remembrance of National Socialism and the Holocaust is in a constant state of transformation. This change is becoming just as important as the development of digital Holocaust education and shows, for example, in ever new digital mediation tools and geo-referenced web applications. Based on the book presented, various aspects of these developments will be addressed and questioned in the panel discussion.
