Relying on a series of drawn schematic architectural portraits of the Stadionbad in Vienna, which was built on the occasion of the Second Workers’ Olympiad (1931), Dvořák unfolds critical panoramas and forges bridges to self-optimizing trends in today’s professional sports and reconstructs the utopian potential of “movement” by means of sculpture, performance, and pop-cultural references.
