The Academy mourns the death of Joe Lämmermayer

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna announces with great regret that its long-time employee Joe Lämmermayer has passed away.

Joe Lämmermayer worked for many years at the Institute of Fine Arts as the Institute Manager and had a significant impact on it through his commitment, reliability, composure, and extensive knowledge of the building and its processes. He was a wonderful and cooperative colleague and a true integration figure who naturally belonged to the IBK and who will be missed by us all.

Our condolences and sympathy go out to the family and the bereaved, we wish them and all colleagues, especially from the Institute of Fine Arts, much strength in this sad time.
