Dear doctoral candidates,
With this last newsletter before summer break, we would like to draw your attention to important calls.
We are pleased to inform you that the call for our dissertation scholarship for the final phase, which aims to support postgraduate students in the last stage of their dissertation until completion, is now open. Overall, six fellowships for six months each can be awarded (4 Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, 2 University of Art and Design Linz). The amount of the fellowship is EUR 1.000,-- per month. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 11.00 am. Submission is possible via our submission website only.
We want to draw special attention to our support for funding programs for the dissertation phase. We are happy to support you with your ÖAW DOC applications again. For all of you interested in an application (estimated deadline: September 15), please contact us at any time. Of course we support you with other funding applications as well, like Marietta-Blau Fellowship (Deadline September 1). Please contact us via doktoratszentrum@akbild.ac.at to arrange a meeting and/or for feedback on your application.
We would also like to give you and your dissertation projects space on the Academy website and present information about it in a separate section of the Doctoral Center. We therefore invite all doctoral candidates with an approved dissertation agreement, who would like to be visible as Ph.D. candidates on the academy website, to fill out the application form in our call and upload the required documents.
