City of Vienna | Promotion Prize for Science and Popular Education
In the field of science and research, the Department of Culture of the City of Vienna awards 6 sponsorship prizes each year for the humanities, social and cultural sciences, medical sciences, mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology as well as popular education.
The prize is awarded in recognition of outstanding overall work in one of these areas.
Scientists under the age of 40 with their main place of residence or main place of work in Vienna are eligible to apply. Individuals and teams can submit an application.
