Province of Burgenland | Award for Bachelor's/Master's theses with a feminist focus 2023/24
In 2024, the Department of Women, Anti-Discrimination and Equal Treatment of the Burgenland Provincial Government will award a prize for Bachelor's/Master's theses that consider topics against the background of feminist approaches or gender aspects into the work.
The amount of the prizes is
1st prize: Euro 1,500
2nd prize: Euro 1,000
3rd prize: Euro 500
Conditions of participation: Eligible are works (monographs and scientific essays of at least 20 pages) that were realized in the period from 1 January 2023 to 30 September 2024. The Bachelor's/Master's theses must consider the topic in question against the background of feminist theories and demonstrate a minimum degree of gender awareness. The authors must have their main or secondary residence in Burgenland.
