GALERIE3 | Carinthia Young Artists Award for Fine Arts 2025
The Carinthia Young Artists Award honours up-and-coming artists up to the age of 35 who were either born, grew up or live/work in Carinthia, or whose personality/work has a concrete connection to the province of Carinthia.
Conditions of participation
- under 35 years of age (periods of child care leave or serious illness can be counted towards the age limit)
- either born or resident/active in Carinthia or personality/work has another significant connection to the province of Carinthia
Exhibition & jury decision
A jury consisting of regional and national cultural journalists, curators and experts will decide on the awarding of the prize. GALERIE3 is not involved in the jury's decision.
- The Carinthia Young Artists Award is endowed with € 5,000.
- The second prize is endowed with € 3,000 and is donated by Treibacher Industrie AG.
- The third prize is endowed with € 2,000 and is donated by the Wietersdorfer Gruppe.
The exhibition will be set up with the curatorial support of GALERIE3, probably on Monday, 30 June 2025. The presence of all nominated artists is desirable.
Submission
Please submit your documents (portfolio, work photos, catalogues, CV, no originals!) in analogue form, by post or in person to GALERIE3 Klagenfurt or GALERIE3 Vienna.
Applications must be received by GALERIE3 by 21 December 2024.
