Spotlight | Young talent competition spotlight STUDENTS
The 28th Festival for Moving Image Communication will take place from March 27 - 28, 2025 in Stuttgart. spotlight STUDENTS is the name of the competition for spots and formats of moving image communication produced by film students, submitted by film students, etc.
In the competition, the entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the fields of creation and design, teaching and research, marketing and advertising, and a selection of the competition entries will also be judged by a public jury. The online public vote will take place in March 2025.
The expert jury and audience jury will each present the spotlight awards separately, and their votes will be cast independently of each other at separate events or film screenings. Multiple awards for competition entries are possible.
Participation in the spotlight STUDENTS competition is free of charge. Only competition entries that were produced or finalized after 01.10.2023 may be submitted. Students and trainees from all universities, universities of applied sciences, academies and schools with artistic or artistic-technical training areas are eligible to participate in spotlight STUDENTS. The submitting student must be significantly involved in the submitted spot (director, camera, editor, producer, text/writing).
