Sophia Roxane Rohwetter wins 1st AICA Prize for Young Art Criticism
The AICA Prize for Young Art Critics, endowed with 12,000 euros and awarded for the first time, goes to Sophia Roxane Rohwetter, Master in Critical Studies student.
The AICA Prize for Young Art Critics is a one-year scholarship that is paid out monthly. It is aimed at writers up to the age of 35. The prize is organised by the German art critics' association AICA and sponsored by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation (Essen). It will be awarded annually from now on. The award ceremony will take place in April at Art Düsseldorf.
