In times of uncertainty and loss of orientation this show concentrates on individual architectural stances. The exhibited works differ very much from each other at first sight – yet they have emerged from a similar ambition to explore spatial perception, organisation and form, and from the need to materialise those within a practice stemming from architectural design. Here the focus is set on works that share a certain fondness for experimentation, and for architectural production. They investigate spatial quests for the sake of architectural research and exploration. If you take a close look, you will find there is passion involved in each of the works. We shed light on the impulse that propels architectural production – the lived process itself.
Works by Kais Al-Rawi, Arphenotype, Ulrich Aschenbrenner, Atzgerei, Marie Boltenstern, eyeTry, Patrick Jaritz, Julia Körner, Lucas Kulnig, Daniel Podmirseg, Rüdiger Suppin, Christian Tonko, TόΤά, unitfifteen–Research, Johan Voordouw and Zosima.
