BMKOES | Call „Pixel, Bytes + Film 2025“
For more than 10 years, the BMKÖS Pixel, Bytes + Film funding programme has been responding to the great interest of artists in further developing audiovisual forms of expression beyond conventional formats and renegotiating them artistically.
Funding is available for projects in the field of moving images that deal artistically with digital technologies of image production (such as digital animation, XR, 3D motion capturing, 360°, AI) and distribution and explore their formal spectrum and narrative possibilities.
Funding objectives:
- Taking up artistic forms of expression from the fields of film and media art
- Strengthening the artistic exploration of innovative digital technologies and transmedia working methods based on the moving image
- Expanding technical skills and capacities in the field of artistic moving images
- Promoting the visibility of new forms of artistic expression in the field of moving images and the associated production and distribution contexts
- Networking between artists and involving experts from related fields of the creative industries
