Lecture organized within the frame of the Artist Lecture Series Vienna in cooperation with the Institute for Fine Arts, Abstract Painting. Organized by Rainer and Ezara Spangl.

Judith Eisler is presently the Professor of Painting at the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien. Eisler held teaching positions at the School of Visual Arts New York, Yale University, and the University of Tennessee.

Exhibiting internationally since 1995, Eisler's solo exhibitions include at Krobath, Vienna (2009), Cohan and Leslie, New York (2008), Glaspavillon, Berlin (2008), Galerie Krobath Wimmer, Vienna (2006), Grimm Rosenfeld, Munich (2005). The Artist Lecture Series Vienna is a program conceived to present the occasion for artists to speak on their work to an audience of peers and interested parties in Vienna.Organized by Rainer and Ezara Spangl and running since 2010, the Artist Lecture Series Vienna presents the lecture program in the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in cooperation with the Institute for Fine Arts, Abstract Painting.
