La Biennale Venice Summer School 2016
On the occasion of the Biennale Architettura 2016 the inaugural La Biennale Summer School 2016 is announced.
Jointly organised by La Biennale di Venezia, University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Victoria and Albert Museum London, applicants are being invited to participate in the programme:
COGNITIVE ADVENTURES IN THE DIGITAL AGE. The Future Of Creation And Preservation
(9 – 17 July, 2016)
Participants will experience one week of cognitive adventures by undertaking intellectual, physical and digital experiments. Guided and supported by artists and theorists from various fields, the participants will have the opportunity to open up new perspectives for thinking and acting in their professional life.
‘A World of Fragile Parts’, an exhibition organized by La Biennale di Venezia and the Victoria and Albert Museum, explores the threats facing the preservation of global heritage sites and how the production of copies can aid in the preservation of cultural artifacts.
