Flora Valentina Besenbäck

Flora Valentina Besenbäck works at the intersection of visual and performing arts. She studied at the art academy "La Esmeralda" in Mexico City, scenography with Anna Viebrock at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and learned from colleagues, friends and at her parents' farm.

In theater and performance projects she works in the areas of set design, conception and as a performer. In installative-performative works she moves outside the temporal and local framework of classical theater, increasingly in rural (outdoor) spaces. She is a member of the virtuoso female brass quintet Academy of Fine Brass - Verein zur Entwicklung und Erschließung performativer Blasmusik and co-organizer of an annual literature festival in the forest.
