This summer, a large delegation of the insurgency movement from Chiapas/Mexico plans to travel to Europe. Calls for solidarity have been written, donations are being collected and coordination and organisation are underway. Five hundred years after the conquest of Mexico, about 150 delegates of the movement want to symbolically "conquer" Europe. What is the journey about? What influence has the Zapatista movement had on social movements and theory? Who are the Zapatistas?
