A New Beginning
Come celebrate the end of Unfreezing the Scene. Kunsthalle Wien Prize 2022 with a new beginning!
The evening will start with a tour of the exhibition by curators Astrid Peterle and Pieternel Vermoortel in the presence of the artists: Gleb Amankulov, Albin Bergström, Alexandru Cosarca, Charlotte Gash, Tijana Lazović, Juliana Lindenhofer, Julius Pristauz, Raphael Reichl, Vanessa Schmidt and Ramiro Wong.
At 7 pm, the exhibition publication will be launched, accompanied by a talk with the contributing authors: Attilia Fattori Franchini, Victor Cos Ortega and Inga Charlotte Thiele.
Juliana Lindenhofer will round off the night by performing a live DJ set from 8 to 10 pm.

Attilia Fattori Franchini is an independent curator and writer based in Vienna. Working on the creation of experimental contexts for the production and display of contemporary practices, her work deals with technology and power structures, moving image and the cinematic, late-capitalism, and the creation of alternative forms of subjectivity and representation.
Victor Cos Ortega is an art historian and journalist living, studying and working in Vienna. Regularly he writes about contemporary art in artmagazine.cc and the Gap.
Inga Charlotte Thiele is a writer, curator and bookseller based in Vienna. She works with poetic language and its possibilities in the fields of writing, study and practice. In her practice, which also involves drawing, she deals with the materiality of language and text, its rigidity and resiliency, and observes the writing and reading body.
