Verena Kaspar-Eisert is mentor of Naa Teki Lebar
Verena Kaspar-Eisert has been chief curator of MuseumQuartier Vienna since 2022. Between 2014-2022 she has been a curator at Kunst Haus Wien and was also the curator of the Vienna Photo Festival since the founding of Foto Wien in 2019. She specializes in contemporary photography and art that addresses ecological issues. At Kunst Haus Wien, she curated international group exhibitions such as Visions of Nature, ÜberLeben am Land, and Nach uns die Sintflut, which address the relationship between humans and nature in the age of the Anthropocene. She has developed large solo presentations with artists such as Rinko Kawauchi, Joel Meyerowitz, Martin Parr, Elina Brotherus and Susan Meiselas. For the Kunst Haus Wien Garage, which has been dedicated to the theme of art and ecology since 2015, she has realized exhibition projects with artists such as Guido van der Verve, Iris Andraschek, Oliver Ressler and Ines Doujak. Verena Kaspar-Eisert is an expert in international portfolio reviews, writes and publishes texts, leads workshops and is a member of various juries.
