The Academy mourns the death of Heinz Führer

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna announces with great regret and sadness that its long-time employee Heinz Führer has passed away unexpectedly and suddenly.

With his expertise, patience and willingness to help, Heinz Führer is an indispensable part of the Department for Information Communication Technologies and we cannot believe that he has passed away so unexpectedly at the age of 59 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Our condolences and sympathy go out to the family and the bereaved, and we wish all colleagues, especially the Department for Information Communication Technologies, much strength during this sad time.
