BMBWF | Sustainability Award 2024
The Sustainability Award of the BMBWF and BMK emphasises creative, innovative and effective initiatives at colleges and universities, promotes the exchange of best practices and motivates the further development of sustainable concepts.
The Sustainability Award honours projects and initiatives that deal with the complex relations between the ecological, economic, social and cultural dimensions of sustainable development in the sense of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (SDGs).
Persons at Austrian universities who are committed to sustainability are eligible for submission. It is aimed at all university members regardless of their role, function and area of activity, for example:
- Students, student representatives
- Lecturers, academic and artistic staff, professors and lecturers
- Heads of organisational units and rectors
- Study programme and programme coordinators
- Administrative and general university staff
Projects and initiatives can be submitted from 2 April to 2 June 2024 at www.sustainability-award.at in the categories Learning, Research, Anchoring and Cooperation.
