Sophie Eidenberger

Sophie Eidenberger, *1992 in Vienna, studied stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and costume design at the Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
Before starting her studies, she worked for institutions such as the Thalia Theater in Hamburg and the Neo Magazin Royale. During her time as a student, she worked as a stage and costume designer on productions in the independent theater scene at the Vienna Cultural Center WUK. She was awarded the Recognition Prize by the Academy of Fine Arts for her diploma thesis, titled Chemtrails over the Schillerplatz.
Her work now focuses on exploring the subversive and experimental potential of the medium of theater.
