Nela Eggenberger is mentor of Marwa Abou Hatab.
Nela Eggenberger studied art history at the University of Vienna. Artistic director and editor-in-chief of EIKON - International Magazine for Photography and Media Art. In this function she has been responsible for many years, among other things, for the programming of the magazine's affiliated gallery EIKON Schauraum (until 2020: EIKON Schaufenster) in Q21 / MuseumsQuartier Vienna, as well as for the publisher's own edition line (Edition EIKON). Juror for various grants, artist-in-residence programs and international art awards with a focus on photography in the context of fine arts. Exhibition projects for the Austrian Cultural Forum Berlin (2020/21), Künstlerhaus Wien (2018) and Kunst Haus Wien (2015), among others.
