Verena Konrad | Director and managing director vai Vorarlberger Architektur Institut

Art historian, author, and curator with living points in Vienna and Vorarlberg. Since 2013 she has led the vai Vorarlberger Architektur Institut as director and managing director. She is a member of the University Council of the University of Liechtenstein as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the IBA Heidelberg Wissen schafft Stadt and the Kunst am Bau Commission of the State of Vorarlberg. In 2018, she was commissioner of the Austrian contribution to the Venice Architecture Biennale. Previously, she was a curator in the team of the Kunsthalle Wien and the Galerie im Taxispalais and taught as a lecturer at the Kunstuniveristät Linz (Department of raum&designstrategien) and the University of Innsbruck (Institute of Art History and Chair of Architectural Theory).
