Alexandra Grausam is mentor of Michael Amadeus Reindel
Alexandra Grausam is co-founder and was director of the art association das weisse haus from 2007 to 2023 with the aim of creating a vibrant platform for emerging artists and curators in Austria. In 2013, an artist studio and residency program (studio das weisse haus) was added for artists, theorists, critics, and curators. Evolving continuously, the digital platform dwhX became an extension of the art association in 2021. Additionally, Alexandra Grausam heads the information platform AWAY Art Residencies. She is involved in various juries and advisory boards and has been a member of the supervisory board of Kunsthalle Wien since 2017. Since 2023, she has been the curator for the Art in Architecture projects of BUWOG.
In 2006, Alexandra Grausam founded Atelier Siebenstern for the conservation and restoration of paintings and contemporary art, with a focus on art from 1960 onwards. She studied art history at the University of Vienna, as well as conservation/restoration at the Technical University of Munich and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
