Bettina Siegele is the artistic director and managing director of the Künstler*innen Vereinigung Tirol (Kunstpavillon, Neue Galerie and interests’ representation) since 2022. She studied architecture and art history at the University of Innsbruck and the University of Plymouth (UK). From 2018 to 2022 she was an assistant professor and researcher at the Department for Architectural Theory at the University of Innsbruck, co-editor of the online magazine Viceversa bits, freelance author and art critic, as well as independent curator. From October 2020 to April 2022 co-chair of the Independent Architecture Research Colloquia (IARC). In 2022, part of the curatorial team of the Architecture Biennale in Timișoara (RO) Another Breach in the Wall, curated by Daniel Tudor Munteanu and Davide Tommaso Ferrando and editor of the eponymous publication. Numerous contributions and exhibition texts in the field of contemporary art and architecture. Member of various advisory boards, networks and juries since 2022. Since 2023 board member of Innsbruck Contemporary.
