Auto Stop!
This is an international event and collective research project with exchange between students and teachers from three universities: Teachers: Luciano Parodi AKBILD (Austria), Mario Carreño Zunino PUC (Chile), Sergio Forster and Marina Masciottra UTDT-EAEU (Argentina).
The idea was to think about cities for the year 2080 without cars. Work was carried out on the new urban territories that would emerge from this hypothesis. It was a research event that produced proposals and performative actions, such as manifestos, pamphlets and readings, with the aim of spreading awareness of the spatial and environmental problems caused by the personal automobile in cities. All of the approaches were concerned with the space available once the car has been removed from what we now know as the street.
