The Open Days offer the opportunity to get to know the university's operations and gain insight into the ongoing work processes. Teachers and students from all institutes provide information and are looking forward to dialogue and discussion with the visitors. With open Studios, exhibitions, study Information, Performances, discussions,  concerts, mediation program and much more.

    Together with the painter Susa Blaufuß and the theater maker Nora Strömer, Emil Borgeest invites visitors to a melancholic spectacle in the gallery of the Semperdepot, focusing on backdrops and the use of it.

  • Gender and Postsecularity in Visual Culture and Knowledge Production

    As part of the book presentation, the editors will provide a brief introduction to the topic of post-/secularity and gender and present selected contributions from the anthology.

    Das Buchcover ist in drei vertikale Bereiche unterteilt: ein breiter orangefarbener Streifen links, ein schmaler hell-lila Streifen in der Mitte und ein schmaler weißer Bereich rechts. Im oberen Teil des orangefarbenen Streifens steht in großer schwarzer Schrift der Titel „A...Series“. Weiter unten, zentral platziert, folgt der Haupttitel des Buches: „Gender and Postsecularity in Visual Culture and Knowledge Production“. Darunter sind die Namen der Herausgeber*innen in schwarzer Schrift aufgelistet: „Sabine Grenz, Doris Guth, Boka En und Fatma Uysal (Eds.)“.
Im schmalen weißen Bereich auf der rechten Seite befindet sich oben rechts der Hinweis „Vol. 27“ in schwarzer Schrift. Am unteren Rand des orangefarbenen Streifens steht in kursiver Schrift der Name des Verlags „Sternberg Press“, begleitet von einem kleinen, stilisierten Sternsymbol.

    Arbeitssituation an der Vorbereitung des Druckablaufs am 1.7.2024 zur Druckperformance. Zu sehen sind Studierende der Akademie der Kunstuni und ein Studierender der Angewandten vor einem Linolschnitt auf dem Grund vor einer Strassenwalze.Die Aufnahme stammt aus der Produktion einer Reihe von Großformaten, fotografiert von Renata Darabant.

    Das Poster zeigt die Nahaufnahme einer Nahaufnahme des Gesichts der Marmorskulptur "Hexe bei der Toilette für die Walpurgisnacht" der jüdischen Bildhauerin Teresa Feodorowna Ries aus dem Jahr 1895 und die Hand des Filmemachers beim Auslösen der Aufnahme. Der Text auf dem Poster kündigt das Video-Screening "Titel" beim Rundgang an, das täglich um 17:00h im Computerraum des Bildhauereigebäudes stattfindet.
