Organized by Rainer and Ezara Spangl, in cooperation with the Institute of Fine Arts, Abstract Painting.

Deininger was born 1974 in Vienna, Austria.She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Münster in the class of Timm Ulrichs 1996-2000 and at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf in the class of Albert Oehlen 2000-2003.

In 2003 she co- founded the KunstKlubKöln/aquarellbluten.In 2007 she co- founded the Mittwochsbar in Vienna.

Florian Schmidt was born 1980 in Raabs/Thaya, Austria.Currently Schmidt lives and works in Berlin.

Schmidt attended the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna 1999 - 2006 and the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg 2002 - 2003.

Veronika Dirnhofer was born 1967 in Horn, Austria and grew up in both Voralberg and Switzerland.Currently Dirnhofer lives in Lower Austria and Vienna.In 1987 she completed her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In 1991 Dirnhofer was awarded a work grant from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research and she received an award from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research to study in New York, USA.

Since 1993, Dirnhofer has worked as a University Assistant at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna In 1996 she was at the School of Visual Arts, New York on a study visit. In 2002 she was a Visiting Professor at the University of Art Linz and she received a Culture Award from the province of Vorarlberg. In 2004 Dirnhofer received a Recognition Award from the province of Lower Austria. In 2006 she was an Artist in Residence at the Art Institute of Chicago. Since 2011 Dirnhofer has been a board member of the Association of Women Artists, Vienna.

Martin Vesely was born 1974 in Vienna.He completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the class of Eva Shlegel and Matthias Herrmann between 2000-2007.From the Bmukk-Kunst, Vesely has been awarded the Rom-Stipendium für künstlerische Fotografie (2005), the Paris-Stipendium für künstlerische Fotografie (2007) and the Staatsstipendium für künstlerische Fotografie (2008).Vesely founded the Ve.Sch - Raum und Form in der bildenden Kunst located at Schikanedergasse 11/3, 1040 Vienna.

Presently, Kocherscheidt works as a freelancer with a special emphasis on underwater photography for magazines such as Mare, Universum, Geolino, Achtung, Vorn, Scubadiving Magazine among others.He exhibits his work in Germany and Austria. Since 2009 Kocherscheidt is a member of the exhibition space Ventilazione in Vienna. He lives and works in New York and Vienna.

Between 1987 and 1993 Bussmann studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Nürnberg the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

Lisa Ruyter was born 1968 in Washington DC, USA. Presently living in Vienna Ruyter is a University Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
